TOPOLOVGRAD(THE GROVE) - ZAIKOVA SPRING - PALEOKASTRO - TOPOLOVGRAD
Characteristic: The route combines a walk in the beautiful green environs of Topolovgrad with a visit to Paleocastro - a Thracian rock sanctuary and an Antic and Medieval fortress that had existed for nearly 1 600 years between the 5th c. BC and the 12th c. AD.
Duration: a 2-3 hours walk (with time for rest included)

TOPOLOVGRAD(THE GROVE) - THE TWO BRIDGES - VILLAGE SAKARCI
Characteristic: An easy walk in the North footsteps of Sacar to the picturesque village of Sacarci. You will enjoy beautiful scenery and rich wildlife. It is possible to visit the “St. Marina” chapel and a cozy local restaurant at the end of the route.
Duration: a 2-3 hours walk (with transport back from Sacarci )

Route N 3

THE BIG STAR - KALETO PEAK - MANGARA - KAMIK TEPE PEAK - YORGAKEV EGREK - VILLAGE SAKARCI
Characteristic: This route suggests a nice opportunity to learn some of the mountain secrets and to dip into the mystery of the remote past. You will see beautiful plants, songbirds and birds of prey. A visit to a fortress remains and to several Thracian dolmens is included. And finally – have a rest and taste local culinary specialties in the fascinating village of Sacarci.
Duration: a 7 hours walk (with transport to the site of Goliamata Zvezda and back from Sacarci)

VILLAGE HLYABOVO - EVDJIKA - STONE MOUND - THE WHIE GRASS - KARAMANOV RESERVOIR - STOEVA PEAR - HLYABOVO
Characteristic: It is another opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Sacar and to come closer to the culture of Ancient Thrace. A visit to a number of dolmens and a mysterious rocky sanctuary is included. You will walk through plenty of mushrooms, herbs and wild fruits and near a small water reservoir – the best place for a picnic and rest.
Duration: 7 hours (with transport to the village of Hlyabovo and back)

KARTALKA PEAK - "THE TEATS" CAVE - "RATTLE HOLE" CAVE - THE OLD CHURCH - HOLY TRINITY MONASTERY
Characteristic: An easy walk with separate steep sections through beautiful rock formations and nice river valleys. It is possible to observe interesting plants and a great diversity of birds. You will visit a rock church with well-preserved paintings of saints dating back from the 10th c. as well as the Holly Trinity Monastery.
Duration: 7 hours walk (with transport to the peak of Kartalka and back from the monastery)

VILLAGE RADOVETZ - VILLAGE VARNIK - VILLAGE MATOCHINA - MANGARA RIVER - VILLAGE PRISADETZ - VILLAGE FILIPOVO - VILLAGE RADOVETZ
Characteristic: This route goes through virgin nature in the border area with a wide panorama to the mountain of Sacar, the Tundja valley and the near-by Turkey. You will visit picturesque small villages, a rock church and the remains of the Vucelon Medieval Fortress. At a venture it is possible to catch a glimpse of a black stork and to watch the flight of a King Eagle.
Duration: 10 – 11 hours walk (but there are shorter options as well)
